本产品为略带有粉色的浅棕褐色粉末。
可用于检测过氧化物酶(peroxidase)活性，是辣根过氧化物酶等过氧化物酶的显色底物。经过氧化物酶催化后可产生不溶性棕色产物。可以用于基于过氧化物酶检测的免疫组化、Western等的显色检测。
溶于水，溶解度可达50mg/ml。
